First Unit of Haval H6 Hybrid EV is Here

After SUVs, now hybrid vehicles are becoming the next big thing in Pakistan. First, MG brought the plug-in hybrid variant of its SUV, MG HS. And now, Haval has imported the first unit of Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). The unit is currently on display at HAVAL showroom (Automotive Technologies) in Karachi.

Here’s your first look at the Haval H6 HEV.

Let’s go through the international specs and features of Haval H6 HEV.

The hybrid variant of Haval H6 is exactly the same size as the petrol variant. 4653 mm in length, 1886 mm in width, and 1724 mm in height. The car has 210 mm of ground clearance and 60 liters of fuel tank.

Haval H6 HEV comes with a 1.5L turbocharged engine that produces 147 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. The hybrid drivetrain delivers combined power of 245 bhp and combined torque of 530 Nm with DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission). The standout utility feature may be that the vehicle does not require any external charger or plug-in system for its hybrid functionality to work on full capacity.

Haval H6 HEV looks almost identical to the petrol variant of Haval H6. The main differences are in the front fascia, where you see a bigger grill, lower splitter and new fog lamps design. This is basically the facelift of the 3rd generation of H6.

Some other features are LED headlights, LED tail lights, LED fog lights, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The interior of Haval H6 HEV is packed with all the modern features, such as the Haval signature feature of Head-Up Display (HUD), ambient lighting, ventilated seats, 12.3” Multi Information touchscreen, fast wireless charging, Surround sound supported by eight speakers, push start, N95 filter, and Anion air purifier.

The hybrid variant of H6 is nothing short of safety features either. It has everything from six airbags to impeccable auto-reverse & automatic parking feature, traction control, electronic stability, hill descent assist, and hill hold control et al.

In the local market, H6 HEV will compete with MG HS PHEV and Toyota Corolla Cross. Let’s see when Haval officially launches the hybrid SUV. We have got our hands on the first test unit of the car, and we are bringing you its exclusive workaround video very soon. Stay tuned!
